Our fencing coach is Jacqueline Faulkner. Jacqueline started fencing 25 years ago, as well as coaching in schools, she has coached at Salle Eton and Newbury Fencing Club, and at the well established Wellesbourne Sword Club since 1995. Jacqueline is a British Fencing Association registered coach, qualified to teach foil and epee from beginner to advanced level and is one of the core coaches for the Under 19’s Southern Region British Fencing team.

For those that have completed a beginners course either at Longridge or elsewhere, we have weekly improver club sessions, all equipment and coaching is provided.
Club sessions run every Wednesday:
Juniors: 18.45 - 19.45
Seniors: 20.00 - 21.00
6-week club courses cost £60.00

Courses
Beginners Course
Jacqueline will be providing the coaching and equipment for our 6-week beginners course on Wednesday evenings from 6.45pm to 8.00pm for juniors and 8pm to 9.15pm for adults. These courses run throughout the year and beginners may join at any point.
Jacqueline also runs 1-day holiday taster days on the dates below.
All equipment provided. All ages welcome
Sportivate funding is available for all those that are aged 14 - 25 years of age
