Membership & Boat Storage

Boat-Owners

We provide racking for kayaks, canoes and rowing/sculling boats in a private area for boat owners to store their boats and launch from our site.  Places are limited and are very popular and we therefore charge an annual fee and ask that kayak/canoe owners have as well as registering their boats with the EA a minimum of a BCU 2-star qualification.

Annual charge for storage of one kayak or one canoe is £150.00

Annual charge for storage of one single or double rowing boat is £250.00

Plus £2.50 launch charge.

We are primarily a centre for young people, and schemes such as these in effect underwrite the cost of the activities for young people.  Therefore, those storing boats here must be aware that their needs will always be secondary to the needs of our young visitors and that on occasion launching may be restricted, such as when Longridge has an event or a total site booking.

Corporate Membership £5,000

Gives a company one team building day at Longridge for up to 50 people, two dragon boat entries for our annual championship and the Family rate on all our courses for all employees.

Family Membership £1,000

Gives a family free attendance for 5 Family Activity Days, free camping and free club sessions for 12-months and our school rate for all courses.

Junior Kayak Club - Wednesdays from 18.30

Family Kayak Club - Sundays from 16.15

Adult Kayak Club - Tuesdays from 20.00

Sprint/Marathon Kayak Club (all ages) - Fridays & Saturdays

Junior Rowing Club - Thursday, Fridays from 16.30, Sat/Sun from 14.30

Adult Rowing Club - Mondays from 19.00, Fridays from 10.30

Youth Activity Club (Y10 and above) - Wednesday from 18.30

Autumn Activity Club (Y5 and above) - Mondays from 18.30

Groups

For groups that use Longridge regularly, you may be entitled to become an Account Customer and be invoiced monthly by standing order, please discuss this option with our bookings team.
