Membership & Boat Storage

Boat-Owners

We provide racking for kayaks, canoes and rowing/sculling boats in a private area for boat owners to store their boats and launch from our site.  Places are limited and are very popular and we therefore charge an annual fee and ask that kayak/canoe owners have as well as registering their boats with the EA a minimum of a BCU 2-star qualification.

Annual charge for storage of one kayak or one canoe is £150.00

Annual charge for storage of one single or double rowing boat is £250.00

Plus £2.50 launch charge.

We are primarily a centre for young people, and schemes such as these in effect underwrite the cost of the activities for young people.  Therefore, those storing boats here must be aware that their needs will always be secondary to the needs of our young visitors and that on occasion launching may be restricted, such as when Longridge has an event or a total site booking.

Families

For those that use Longridge regularly, you may like to become a Longridge member by paying a one-off instalment of £88.00 each year. Membership entitles you to the school’s discount rate as detailed in our prices, which equates to a minimum of a 10% discount on all activities and courses (excluding catering). A family consists of 4 people, additional family members cost £25.00 each. Membership is a new option, so at the moment the scheme is in its infancy, if however it proves popular we aim to create special members events and activities – so watch this space!

Junior Rowing Development Club - Fridays from 16.30

Youth Activity Club (Y10 and above) - Wednesday from 18.30

Autumn Activity Club (Y5 and above) - Mondays from 18.30

Groups

For groups that use Longridge regularly, you may be entitled to become an Account Customer and be invoiced monthly by standing order, please discuss this option with our bookings team.
