Fundraising for the future

Longridge is entering an ambitious new stage of its development following the successful purchase of the site in 2008 from the Scout Association. We want to replace, upgrade and build new facilities in order to provide a truly 21st century water and land-based activities centre.

Our most pressing need is to complete our new Training Centre, whilst the ground floor is operational the top floor isn't.  This is causing us some headaches, as in order to get planning permission to build this gorgeous building we had to knock down our existing indoor spaces and with the top floor incomplete, we have no indoor spaces to run courses we have arranged for this winter.  To make the space useable we need to raise the money to put in a floor at £10,000 and heating at £30,000.

In addition we would like:

Accordian doors £14,100

Kitchen Units £3,680

Ergos and Gym Equipment £8,000

Tables and Chairs £2,500

and for the ground floor we still need lockers and benches to create a changing area for £6,000

  Sponsor a cedar shingle and have your name engraved on our new Training Centre

Or think of your own event - 1st Littleton Guides did a sponsored wier trip, creating a record of the number of weir attempts in a day.  What could you do?

Corporate Membership £5,000

Gives a company one team building day at Longridge for up to 50 people, two dragon boat entries for our annual championship and the Family rate on all our courses for all employees.

Family Membership £1,000

Gives a family free attendance for 5 Family Activity Days, free camping and free club sessions for 12-months and our school rate for all courses.
